Illegal construction of warehouses is rampant, with signs of cover-up.

On October 25, Thanh Nien 's source confirmed that Mr. Le Hung, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Department of Construction, signed and issued the inspection conclusion, pointing out many shortcomings and limitations in construction order management in Krong Pak District, Dak Lak.

Previously, Dak Lak Department of Construction established inspection team 169, coordinating with relevant units to randomly inspect 32/632 works in 6 communes and towns along National Highway 26.

Through inspection, the delegation discovered that 31/32 constructions violated legal regulations in the fields of construction and land (accounting for 97%). Of these, 18/32 constructions have not been handled, 14/32 constructions have been handled for administrative violations.

Dak Lak Department of Construction believes that the People's Committee of Krong Pak District and communes and towns are still irresponsible in monitoring, detecting, checking, handling and promptly notifying competent authorities to organize inspection and handling right from the beginning of construction works.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Construction, the People's Committee of Krong Pak District, communes and towns have prepared documents to handle violations, but only for projects invested by private enterprises and people.

Meanwhile, large-scale construction projects carried out by single-member LLCs and joint-stock companies are not inspected or have their violations handled according to regulations, causing inequality and affecting people's trust in the government apparatus at all levels and the strictness of the law.

Dak Lak Department of Construction also said that the People's Committee of Krong Pak District was not resolute and thorough, only focusing on collecting fines, so 14/32 violating constructions (for which administrative penalty decisions were issued) have not yet remedied the consequences according to regulations.

There are signs of concealment and cover-up of illegal constructions.

During the working process with the inspection team, the People's Committee of Krong Pak District reported that 6 communes and towns reported the list of construction works. The remaining 10 communes and towns did not report the list of construction works in the area. The Dak Lak Department of Construction said that there were signs of concealment and cover-up of illegal construction works.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Construction, most of the illegal constructions in Krong Pak District are warehouses for purchasing and processing durian. Because the value and profit from durian are very high, many organizations and individuals disregard the law to build illegal constructions.

Dak Lak Department of Construction believes that the state management of construction order in Krong Pak District has not received due attention. From the above opinions, Dak Lak Department of Construction recommends that the People's Committee of Krong Pak District organize a review of the responsibilities of individuals and related units in managing construction order according to their authority.

At the same time, direct specialized departments, communes and towns to prepare documents for handling and advise on the final handling of illegal construction works in the management area that the inspection team has pointed out according to the provisions of law.
