Today, November 26, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) organized a summary of the emulation program launching "Households save electricity" in 2024 in Quang Tri province.
The program launched by PC Quang Tri in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade from May to August 2024 received the attention, support and participation of 8,381 customers using electricity for domestic purposes during the program launch period with monthly electricity consumption of 300 kWh or more and using online channels to receive notification information.

After 4 months of launching the competition, the program has recorded 3,633 households with a total electricity consumption from May to August 2024 lower than the same period in 2023, with a total electricity saving of more than 1.6 million kWh, equivalent to a savings of more than 3.5 billion VND. Of which, 1,064 households have a continuous electricity saving rate in May, June, July, and August compared to the same period in 2023 of 5% or more (calculated according to electricity bills).

At the end of the program, the jury selected, proposed to recognize and reward 100 typical electricity-saving households in 2024 with a total prize of 50 million VND.
The emulation program "Households save electricity" in Quang Tri province in 2024 is of great significance in promoting the application of solutions and raising awareness of saving electricity in daily life of families; contributing to ensuring safe and reliable electricity supply, meeting the electricity demand for socio-economic development, national defense and security and essential daily life of the people.
