Urgently recognize graduation for students of Quang Nam Medical College

According to document No. 1633/LĐTBXH-GDNN, dated June 19, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs stated that: According to Circular No. 15/2021/TT-BLĐTBXH dated October 21, 2021 of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs stipulating the charter of colleges: Clause 2, Article 30 stipulates that colleges conduct tests, exams, evaluate learning outcomes, training, self-cultivation, and participation in social activities of learners; organize tests, exams and consider graduation recognition for learners of vocationaltraining programs according to regulations of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In Article 7 of the above Circular, the deadline for granting graduation certificates, the Principal is responsible for organizing the awarding of graduation certificates to students who are eligible for graduation certificates within 30 working days from the date the student finishes the final graduation exam or defends the graduation thesis (for training organizations based on the academic year) or finishes the last subject or module in the training program (for training organizations based on the module or credit accumulation method).

Therefore, "The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province requests that Quang Nam Medical College urgently review, report and ask for the opinion of the Provincial People's Committee to consider assigning the school in charge of the authority to grant graduation certificates to 1 Vice Principal to sign and grant graduation certificates and temporary graduation certificates for students who are eligible for graduation certificates at the school (during the time the school does not have a Principal)" stated in document No. 1633/LĐTBXH-GDNN.

On June 18, 2024, Dai Doan Ket Online Newspaper reported "The principal was prosecuted, asking for permission to transfer the principal's authority to grant graduation certificates to students".

Accordingly, Quang Nam Medical College requested the Provincial People's Committee to allow Mr. Bui Long An, Vice Principal, to sign and issue temporary graduation certificates to students graduating this term with an expected number of 120 students.

Previously, Dai Doan Ket Online newspaper reported "Prosecution of the principal and former principal of Quang Nam Medical College" reflecting on the fact that Quang Nam Provincial Police prosecuted the principal and former principal of the above school along with 2 other defendants to investigate the crime of taking advantage of position and power while performing official duties.
