On the afternoon of April 16, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam successfully organized the contest "Korean Literature Dramatization 2024" at Ta Quang Buu Hall, Thang Long University.

Following the success of the “Korean Literature Dramatization 2022” contest held in Ho Chi Minh City, this contest is held in Hanoi with the aim of bringing Korean literature closer to students studying Korean at universities and helping students love Korean literature, culture and the Korean language more.
The competition was attended by student groups from Hanoi University, Phenikaa University, Dai Nam University, University of Foreign Languages, University of Social Sciences and Humanities... along with the presence of delegates, distinguished guests, and lecturers from the Department of Korean Language and Culture.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Mr. Choi Seung Jin, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, expressed his gratitude to the delegates, lecturers and students of the Korean Language Department, especially Thang Long University for their support so that the center could create a useful playground for Korean language for students.
Mr. Seung Jin affirmed: “Throughout history, Korea and Vietnam have both had excellent literary works of value in each period. The contest is organized with the desire to introduce the unique features of Korean literature and at the same time is an opportunity to help young people studying Korean language and culture love the culture of the land of kimchi even more”.

At the competition, 14 teams from universities recreated impressive skits of one of the Korean literary works through a 15-minute drama performance.
Each team's performance is judged based on four criteria: the team members' teamwork, the message conveyed by the skit, the creativity of the performance, and the overall success of the performance.
Within the framework of the competition, the teams competed with unique and creative skits in the works Khoai Tay , Mot Ngay May Loc , Hai Doi Tho Man , Xuan Huong Truyen ... bringing the audience moments of joy, excitement and meaning.

After discussion, the jury selected 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 11 consolation prizes. Accordingly, the team from Hanoi University won the first prize with the work Khoai Tay. The second prize went to the team from Dai Nam University with the short story Xuan Huong story . The third prize went to the short story Hai doi tho man by the team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The “Korean Literature Dramatization 2024” contest officially ended with a myriad of different emotions. Hopefully, through the above contest, the Korean Cultural Center will continue to maintain and develop the program, contributing to bringing Vietnamese people closer to Korean culture.
