Joining her son in the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Nguyen Viet Hue, mother of Nguyen Duy Bach Du, a 5R student at TH School Chua Boc, could not hide her happiness and emotions when admiring her son's particularly impressive and highly artistic work at the Walking through art exhibition. These paintings by Bach Du (grade 5) were selected to display at the exhibition.

Ms. Hue confided: “I always support my child when he shows his talent for painting and am happy to witness him looking at everything through an artistic lens full of emotions. Specifically, Bach Du has a great passion for animals and he remembers many different species of animals. From that passion, he always wants to realistically portray those interests in each drawing.”

Ms. Hue also shared that being able to develop comprehensively in both academics and arts at TH School has helped her child balance, bringing good benefits for comprehensive and long-term development. “Academics are about acquiring knowledge, sometimes with its own pressure. Therefore, learning and expressing artistic talent will be a factor that helps children be happier, more balanced and more motivated to study. I think both academics and arts need to go hand in hand. The learning environment at TH School is doing this very well,” Ms. Hue expressed.

Talking about her child's change while studying at TH School, which encourages students to develop comprehensively, Ms. Kyle Yu excitedly said: “Katy has artistic talent but is a bit shy, not daring to express herself in both studying and art. Since starting to study at TH School, I have noticed that she is more confident, has more soft skills and is bolder in social communication. In addition to her progress in fine arts, I am very grateful to the school for helping her practice and improve her logical thinking as well as her compassion and altruism. In terms of studying, Katy has developed an independent and effective self-study method. I believe that the educational environment at TH School has helped my child mature a lot. I always support my child in pursuing her passion and developing herself. Choosing to let her study at TH School is indeed a wise decision.”

During the past school year, Katy Kyi Nuu Eain won the Diamond Award – Southeast Asian Computer Science Olympiad; Silver Medal at the International STEM Olympiad and First Prize at the International Children's Painting Competition "I Love Hanoi – City for Peace" in 2024.

Many studies have shown that holistic development increases the chances for students to find happiness in learning and life. At TH School, we focus on developing artistic abilities. Spreading happiness to the community is how we feel true happiness. And that is what TH School is aiming for: True happiness.

Therefore, TH School focuses on helping new students feel welcomed by teachers and the class. We have dedicated the first week of the school year to everyone getting to know each other, sharing their interests or strengths. The first week is very important for students to get to know their teachers, as well as for teachers to get to know their students better and create a bond within the class. That is how we start the new school year, ensuring that students are comfortable, sociable with everyone and ready to learn.”
