On the evening of May 31, the People's Committee of Son Tra District (Da Nang City) opened night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge and the park on the east bank of the bridge, in Son Tra District.

Many people and tourists experienced and enjoyed attractive activities such as Ao Dai performance and fashion show by 20 artists and models with the theme "A glimpse of Han River".

After investing in many bridges to solve traffic problems across the Han River and Cam Le River, Da Nang City turned Nguyen Van Troi Bridge into a pedestrian bridge to serve tourism.

The East Bank Park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge has completed phase 1 with a spacious appearance.

Especially the street dance with more than 1,000 people dancing, in addition to 300 dancers, there are also hundreds of members of local folk dance teams and people and tourists participating. Lively dances are also performed on Tran Hung Dao street, at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge.

In phase 1, Son Tra District upgraded the landscape of the entire area, planted new trees and replaced them; added lighting and decorative electricity, installed stages, decorative frames, and made miniatures; auctioned 5 service stalls, 1 children's playground, and completed the "Colorful Road" check-in point... The total cost of phase 1 is more than 6 billion VND.

During the time of coming, there are often activities that attract tourists such as flashmob performances, yoga festivals, street art, book festivals...

Phase 2 continues to invest in upgrading, designing, and renovating facilities, infrastructure, flower gardens, lighting, flower models, check-in points on the bridge, organizing events and festivals (such as folk music performances, street music), painting and exhibitions, aerobics, and street dances.

Recreational and entertainment services for residents and tourists connect to Bach Dang walking street (Hai Chau District side) via Nguyen Van Troi bridge.

"Night tourism products and services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the park on the east bank of the bridge are expected to be a boost for tourism development in Da Nang City in general and Son Tra District in particular," said Mr. Huynh Van Hung.
