A large number of visitors visited and shopped for specialties on the first day of the opening of the Goods Week.
Implementing the 2024 Trade Promotion Program of Yen Bai province, Yen Bai Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion in coordination with Central Retail Vietnam Group organized the Week of goods to introduce and promote agricultural, forestry and fishery products of Yen Bai province in 2024.
Mr. Trinh Van Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Yen Bai province said that this year's week attracted the participation of units, enterprises and cooperatives in the province with about 100 items, including many specialties of Yen Bai province such as candied apricot, candied apple vinegar, Tu Le fried dough sticks, Mu Cang Chai honey, Seng Cu rice, Gioi Phien vermicelli, dried bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, dried pork, dried buffalo, Tu Le sticky rice, Tram Tau district green taro, Suoi Giang snow shan tea, Van Yen cinnamon...
At the event, Yen Bai province arranged an area to display typical agricultural products and GO! Thang Long Supermarket reserved an area to display Yen Bai province's products that have been and are being consumed strongly in the system such as Gioi Phien vermicelli, dried bamboo shoots, Bat Do bamboo shoots, dried buffalo meat, dried pork... Thereby creating conditions for consumers to easily shop for famous specialties of Yen Bai province.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Communications Director of Central Retail Group, shared: “Over the years, Yen Bai province has been one of the localities actively cooperating with Central Retail to introduce and promote local products to consumers in Hanoi. Thanks to that, the province's products such as Tu Le sticky rice, Thac Ba lake fish, Tram Tau district's green taro, Suoi Giang snow shan tea, Van Yen cinnamon, dried bamboo shoots, wood ear vermicelli, shiitake mushrooms... have always received the attention and support of consumers. Sales of these products often achieve double-digit growth.
We expect that at this year's Goods Week, Hanoi consumers will continue to strongly support Yen Bai province's products, contributing to creating a stable output for Yen Bai province's goods."

Also on this occasion, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place between units of Yen Bai province and Central Retail Group. This will be an important basis for Central Retail Vietnam's purchasing team to step up the search for more quality products of Yen Bai province to distribute on Central Retail's retail system, meeting the strong increase in shopping demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
