DNVN - On the morning of June 13, the opening ceremony of the 17th international exhibition on vehicles, transportation and supporting industries - Vietnam AutoExpo 2024 took place in Hanoi at the ICE International Exhibition Center, Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace.
Vietnam AutoExpo 2024 is co-organized by the Vietnam Industry Agency (VIA) - Ministry of Industry and Trade ; Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries (VASI), Vietnam Society of Automotive Engineers (VSAE); CIS Vietnam Advertising and Exhibition Company.
This is an annual international specialized exhibition. Over the past 16 years, Vietnam AutoExpo has always been highly appreciated by the business community and state management agencies for its scale and quality. The event brings together the community of manufacturing, assembling and trading enterprises in the fields of automobiles, motorbikes, electric vehicles, spare parts and accessories and related fields.
The event is an opportunity for businesses to interact, approach potential customers, promote products, and contribute to changing the face of the automobile and motorbike industry in Vietnam. Vietnam AutoExpo 2024 has a scale of more than 5,000m2, with nearly 250 booths, and the participation of 200 domestic and international businesses.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry - Ministry of Industry and Trade said that after 16 times of organization, Vietnam AutoExpo has gradually affirmed itself as a large-scale specialized exhibition program for automobiles and motorbikes in the Northern market.
“I welcome the interest of hundreds of businesses in the industry and the large number of visitors to the exhibition. This is a positive sign for strong development in areas such as vehicle manufacturing, transportation and supporting industries in the coming time,” said Mr. Tuan Anh.

Within the framework of the exhibition, on the morning of June 14, a specialized workshop will take place with the theme "Developing the global supply chain of the automotive industry in the context of adapting to climate change". The workshop is organized by the Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries (VASI) in coordination with the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Transport Strategy Institute ( Ministry of Transport ), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to provide useful information for businesses.
During the exhibition days, trade connection programs are also continuously organized to promote trade exchange, science and technology trading, attract investment, promote consumption, and support businesses in finding business opportunities.
During the 4 days of opening from June 13-16, Vietnam AutoExpo 2024 is expected to attract 20,000 visitors and direct workers. Affirming its role as a prestigious annual event of the automobile and motorbike market in Northern Vietnam.
