A representative of the Taipei Bakery Association (TBA) said that the bakery industry, especially cakes in Vietnam, is one of the fastest growing industries and the most competitive segment in the consumer goods industry. With the advantage of being a country with a large and young population, Vietnam is considered one of the potential bakery markets in Southeast Asia.
Ms. Ly Kim Chi - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association - said that currently, the Vietnamese food and beverage market is a potential market, with annual consumption accounting for about 15% of GDP. By 2023, Vietnam will have more than 20,000 businesses operating in the F&B industry. This affirms the attractiveness of the industry, the increasingly fierce competition, forcing domestic and foreign businesses to compete to innovate, find their own direction, maintain market share and profits. Therefore, the specialized exhibition on baking equipment is necessary to attract investment and promote production expansion, contributing positively to the development of the F&B industry.
According to the exhibition organizer, Vietnam is considered a large potential market for the bakery industry and will develop strongly in the coming time. Understanding this, we organize the VIBS 2024 exhibition as a bridge to help businesses and consumers have the opportunity to learn about techniques, technological equipment and baking recipes to improve production and competitiveness.
Along with the exhibition of baking equipment, the final round of the Vietnam Talented Pastry Chef Competition also took place. Photo: PH |
