Opening of the creative camp to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Hai Thuong Lan Ong's birth

The organization of the creative camp to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Hai Thuong Lan Ong's birth aims to nurture and develop cultural values, arousing the aspirations of the people and land of Huong Son (Ha Tinh).

On the morning of October 13, the People's Committee of Huong Son district coordinated with the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association to organize the opening of the 2023 Literature and Arts Creation Camp to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac (1724 - 2024) and "Huong Son past and present" in a semi-concentrated form.

Overview of the launching ceremony of the creative camp

At the opening ceremony of the creative camp, the leaders of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts announced a number of requirements for the participating members. The 2023 creative camp includes 26 people who are writers, poets, photographers, musicians..., members of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts of Ha Tinh and a number of artists who are children of Huong Son.

Chairman of Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association Tran Nam Phong: Through literary and artistic works, we aim to educate the tradition of patriotism, love of homeland, and national pride.

The camp is opened in a semi-centralized form. According to regulations, the creative works must have content and professional quality appropriate to the theme and cultural values, traditions, and customs of the homeland and country; in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies.

Composing valuable literary and artistic works praising the homeland, praising the life, career and contributions of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac and the homeland of Huong Son. Through the works, it aims to educate the tradition of patriotism, love for the homeland, national pride; encourage emulation movements in the Party Committee and people of Huong Son district.

After the opening ceremony, members will visit the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac relic site and some localities in Huong Son district to create works. The closing ceremony is expected to be held on October 21.
