On the evening of August 27, at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace (Ha Long City), the Department of Culture and Sports opened the 2024 Cultural Festival of Cultural Villages and Cultural Quarters of Quang Ninh Province. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, attended the program.
The festival was attended by 13 art troupes with over 800 artists and actors selected from typical cultural houses of villages and cultural neighborhoods representing districts, towns and cities in the province. Immediately after the opening ceremony, 3 mass art troupes performed their performances.
The festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2024), encouraging the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to successfully implement the Party's resolutions, promoting the movement to build cultural villages, cultural neighborhoods and cultural families.
The festival aims to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through advanced examples in the new rural construction movement in Quang Ninh; honoring typical village cultural figures in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".
As planned, the Festival will take place over two days, August 27 and 28. The closing ceremony, performance of excellent performances and awarding of prizes will begin at 8:00 p.m. on August 28 at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
