Green Vietnam Festival is a large-scale event that gathers a series of "big guys" including Vietnamese enterprises and FDI enterprises in many industries to introduce to consumers green products, recycled and reusable products, contributing to spreading the trend of green consumption and green lifestyle.
Green Vietnam Festival 2024 is an annual event within the series of activities of the Green Vietnam project organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO VN) and other organizations, in response to the goals Vietnam committed to at COP26 and promoting green lifestyles in the community.
The event offers the opportunity to experience meaningful activities, raise awareness about environmental protection, circular economy , recycling... and especially promote green production and green consumption.
Before the opening ceremony, delegates visited each space displaying green products of more than 60 businesses and brands present at the festival.
Many delegates expressed surprise when they learned that unique and useful products in life are made from seemingly discarded materials such as coffee grounds, plastic bottles, plastic boxes... with a special recycling process to bring a new life cycle to products in the circular economy.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online, Mr. Kulachet Dharachandra - Country Director of SCG Group in Vietnam - highly appreciated Tuoi Tre newspaper for the Green Vietnam project with a series of practical activities aiming at the goal of protecting the environment and reducing net emissions to zero.
He said this is a meaningful initiative, helping to raise public awareness about environmental protection and sustainable development.
In particular, the Green Vietnam Festival not only attracts the participation of a large number of people but also encourages businesses to share green initiatives, from using recycled materials to reducing waste and joining hands to build a green community.
