Danny (from England) and Diggy (from Poland) are passionate about traveling and have been to many places. Because of their love for Hanoi's culture and cuisine, the two Westerners decided to take a week-long trip to enjoy the delicious food.

Among the dishes they enjoyed, Diggy revealed that there was one dish that was the "motivation" for them to return to Hanoi and "the best they've ever eaten in the capital". That was bun bo.

Danny and Diggy went to a sidewalk restaurant on Luong Ngoc Quyen Street (Hoan Kiem District). They had visited this place 7 years ago and were impressed by the delicious beef noodle soup as well as the enthusiastic and hospitable owner.

When they met again, the old owner seemed to recognize the two guests and warmly asked them how they were. Diggy could not hide his excitement at having the opportunity to return to his favorite restaurant.

At the restaurant, a Polish female tourist ordered two servings of beef noodle soup and eagerly waited to enjoy "the best dish she has ever eaten in the capital".

According to Diggy, the beef noodle dish is refreshing because it is served with some raw vegetables. Danny revealed that he likes the accompanying chili seasoning the most.

A British male tourist commented that the beef noodle soup broth has a light sour taste, a fragrant tomato aroma and an eye-catching color. In addition, the beef and fried onions are also tasty and delicious.

While enjoying the dish, Diggy expressed her delight because the taste of the beef noodle soup was so delicious that it “could not be explained or described in words”. She praised the full portion, the tender beef, and the rich broth, with a harmonious blend of sweetness and sourness from the tomatoes.

Diggy commented that the taste of the beef noodle soup at this sidewalk restaurant was no different from the first time she enjoyed it.

Not only impressed by the attractive flavor of the beef noodle soup, no different from many years ago, the Western guest was also touched by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the seller.

“She watched us eat attentively and guided us on how to eat well, constantly asking if we needed more food. She even relaxed when we filmed our experience today.

That's also why we wanted to come back to visit this woman and enjoy the noodles she cooked," Diggy shared.

The Polish tourist also confirmed that what she felt and shared was true. The couple really wanted to taste the beef noodle soup again because they were so impressed with the wonderful taste of this street food.

That was also the reason why they decided to return to Hanoi and go to the above restaurant.

Chung commented, Danny believes that if tourists try the beef noodle soup here, they will not be disappointed. "Come and enjoy the best beef noodle soup in Hanoi, I can assure you of this," he affirmed.

At the end of the meal, the two Western guests paid 130,000 VND, including fried breadsticks and iced tea. The couple commented that the price was completely commensurate with the quality of the beef noodle soup they had enjoyed for many years.
