Accordingly, Synopsys Defensics testing software will be integrated as an option into Keysight's IoT Security Assessment solution.
Keysight Technologies has just partnered with Synopsys on security solutions.
With the addition of Defensics to Keysight's IoT Device Security Assessment solution, users now have a complete, end-to-end solution that combines known vulnerability assessments with a flexible fuzzer that can analyze more than 300 diverse technology protocols used across multiple industries, quickly testing for unknown vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
In addition to reporting security flaws discovered through fuzzing, the solution also detects potential exploits due to weak encryption and authentication, expired security certificates, Android vulnerabilities and Android Debug Bridge (ADB) weaknesses, or known common vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities (CVEs) as well as vulnerabilities embedded in protocol layers, such as Bluetooth Low Energy attacks like Sweyntooth and Braktooth.
Additionally, Keysight’s IoT Device Security Assessment solution makes it easy and cost-effective for manufacturers to test IoT devices and has achieved the new U.S. Cyber Trust Mark certification upon its release. This turnkey cybersecurity certification platform enables automated validation through a point-and-click interface, allowing device manufacturers to quickly bring new IoT products to market without the need to hire a large team of cybersecurity experts.
“Securing IoT devices against attacks is becoming increasingly challenging for manufacturers as the demand for new devices and features increases,” said Ram Periakaruppan, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Network Test and Security Solutions business. “By working with Synopsys to integrate their best-in-class fuzzing tool, Keysight is able to provide device manufacturers with a comprehensive security testing solution that identifies vulnerabilities in previously unknown protocol layers in their devices and evaluates them for known threats, all in a simple, easy-to-use interface.”
