In the letter, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan wrote: In recent days, storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) - the strongest storm in the East Sea in more than 30 years has been causing heavy damage to people and property of the State and people in the province.

Many offices, schools, and houses had their roofs blown off. Tens of thousands of hectares of rice, vegetables, and aquaculture areas were flooded, at risk of total loss, and many trees were broken and felled...

In particular, due to the impact of storm circulation combined with large floods from upstream, the water system on rivers rose, causing localized flooding in some localities, greatly affecting people's lives and production development...

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the consent of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee calls on agencies, organizations, units, enterprises, philanthropists, religious organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, cadres and soldiers in the armed forces, cadres, civil servants, workers and people of all walks of life to promote the tradition of national solidarity with the spirit of mutual love and affection, turning difficulties into strength, through concrete actions, joining hands to share, support, and encourage materially and spiritually to help the people of Hai Duong province quickly overcome damage, restore production and business, and soon stabilize their lives.

All sharing and support requests should be sent to the Provincial Relief Fund account (No. 3761.0.9113321.91049 at the State Treasury of Hai Duong province), clearly stating the name of the individual, group, address or directly supporting at the office of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (No. 4, Pham Su Menh, Quang Trung ward, Hai Duong city).
