Recruitment results of civil servants and public employees in Ho Chi Minh City from excellent university graduates

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has announced a decision approving the results of the city's recruitment of civil servants from excellent university graduates and young scientists in 2024 for the education sector.

Nguyen Dinh Thu Hien (in ao dai), graduated with a major in mathematics education from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, was the only candidate to participate in the recruitment and was accepted into the Department of Education and Training as a high school teacher.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved the results of the city's recruitment of civil servants from excellent graduates and young scientists in 2024, including 2 successful candidates (1 candidate for the position of teaching assistant at Saigon University and 1 candidate for the position of high school math teacher) out of 3 candidates participating in the recruitment.

On October 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Servants and Public Employees Recruitment Council organized a recruitment exam for civil servants and public employees from excellent university graduates and young scientists in 2024.

Specifically, 8 candidates are excellent graduates from universities such as Polytechnic, Pedagogy, Law... participating in recruitment for positions such as state diplomacy, planning and construction management, legal affairs, teaching assistant, high school teacher respectively in units such as Thu Duc City People's Committee, Management Board of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks, Department of Transport, Saigon University, Department of Education and Training.

In the education sector alone, there are 3 candidates applying for the position of teaching assistant at Saigon University (2 candidates) and high school math teacher.

According to Mr. Vo Ngoc Quoc Thuan, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Council for Recruitment of Civil Servants and Public Employees from Excellent Graduates and Young Scientists of the City, in 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee recruited 3 civil servants from Excellent Graduates and Young Scientists to work at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, and the City's Center for Trade and Investment Promotion.

"Throughout their work, young people have developed their knowledge and capacity and made many contributions to their professional activities for their agencies and units. This year, in order to continue promoting the policy of attracting and using talents, Ho Chi Minh City organizes the recruitment of civil servants and public employees according to Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP for 19 positions," said the Vice Chairman of the Civil Servants and Public Employees Recruitment Council.
