The Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF 2024) announced the latest information about the event which will take place in June and July.

The DIFF International Fireworks Festival has officially returned to Da Nang in the summer of 2024 with the theme "Made in Unity - Global Connection - Radiant Five Continents", promising to bring spectacular "feasts of the senses" in the sky, captivating visitors from all over the world.
According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the event is expected to take place from June 8 to July 13. With the theme "Made in Unity - Global Connection - Radiant Five Continents", DIFF 2024 marks 12 years of organization, achieving many brilliant successes and being loved by friends from five continents. This theme also conveys the message of a peaceful, friendly, humane world and honors values that inspire the community.
With the innovations of DIFF 2024, the Organizing Committee hopes that DIFF will be a festival that will make tourists return to Da Nang every year, becoming an annual habit for domestic and foreign tourists.
DIFF 2024 will have 8 participating teams from France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, Finland, China and the host team Da Nang (Vietnam). Notably, this is also the first year of participation of 3 teams Germany, USA and China, which will bring the audience many surprises through eye-catching performances.
The opening night of DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of June 8 with the theme "Made of Unique Culture - Cultural Essence" and the opening competition between the Vietnamese team and the reigning DIFF 2023 champion - France. The following nights will witness the competition between the following teams: Italy - USA (June 15) (Made of Nature Wisdom - Natural Masterpiece); Germany - Poland (June 22) (Made of Love Inspiration - Magical Love); China - Finland (June 29) (Made of Fairy Tales - Fairy World) and the Final night will take place on July 13 with the name "Made of Young Generation - Future Beat". As every year, the fireworks teams will have 20-22 minutes to perform.
The 2024 International Fireworks Festival is expected to be a great opportunity for Da Nang to attract tourists to this coastal city, helping the tourism industry of the Han River city make a spectacular breakthrough like in 2023. According to statistics, in the period from June to 2023 when DIFF 2023 took place, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated to reach nearly 706,000, an increase of 34.1% over the same period in 2022.
In addition, the series of events accompanying DIFF 2024 is also expected to be organized grandly with many rich and attractive contents to welcome international friends to Da Nang.
In particular, according to the Organizing Committee representative, to kick off this year's fireworks season, the city is expected to treat visitors to a Jetski & Flyboards extreme sports performance by Australian manufacturer H2O. This promises to be the highlight that makes DIFF 2024 completely different from previous seasons.
