At the conference, the leader of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the locality holds an important position in politics, economy, culture, society, national security and defense of the Central Highlands - Central region in general and the dynamic economic region of the Central region in particular.

At the same time, Da Nang is an important gateway to the sea of the Central Highlands and Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar to Northeast Asian countries through the East-West Economic Corridor.

Accordingly, the city aims to form a logistics service supply chain in the Central region as a gateway for delivery and transportation with localities and countries in the region and internationally.

According to the representative of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Da Nang City needs to have solutions to promote science, technology, chain linkage in production to increase product value, regional linkage in trade promotion activities and export on a professional scale to maximize resources, effectively implement breakthrough action programs.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to accompany localities along this corridor to promote export promotion, trade promotion and trade connection activities to help remove difficulties for manufacturers and exporters in the context of complicated developments in domestic and world consumption markets.
