The Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA - under the Vietnam Digital Communications Association) organized the first Exchange Program to share, listen to difficulties and problems and propose solutions for members, thereby creating a positive digital content creation environment among individuals and businesses. According to the 2024 operation plan, DCCA aims to continue to develop more new members to consolidate and enhance the value of the digital content creation industry in Vietnam, improve the quality of human resources through organizing many seminars and workshops to solve difficulties and problems for individuals, organizations and businesses. DCCA will continue to research and propose new policies to ensure the rights and development of the digital content creation industry and national digital transformation; promote participation in cooperation activities, connection, and support members in the Alliance.
Sharing about the orientation in 2024, DCCA Chairman Ta Manh Hoang said: "In 2023, DCCA focused on studying the most universal topics of the market, raising issues that have a great impact on the development of the content creation industry and building a solid foundation for the next steps. In 2024, DCCA aims to delve deeper into the issues, get closer to members to understand and more effectively solve the problems that members encounter in the process of participating in the field of digital content creation as well as going to the international market".
In particular, with the initial success of the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award 2023, DCCA will continue to host the 2024 Award, promising to open up new creativity, creating more playgrounds for content creators to participate in exchanges and build a strong digital economy. It is expected that the VCA 2024 Award will be officially launched in April 2024. The Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (abbreviated as DCCA) was established by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association with the goal of building a leading content creation community, bringing Vietnam's digital content products to the world. With the mission of connecting individuals, businesses, organizations, and management agencies in the field of digital content, sharing knowledge and experience, promoting resources, supporting the removal of difficulties, and spreading good values to the community, after 1 year, DCCA has developed 30 domestic and international members (17 organizations, businesses and 13 individuals). In 2023, DCCA actively organized and participated in many meaningful activities, removing difficulties and obstacles for many individuals and organizations working in the field of content creation such as the Workshop on consulting on digital content service tax on cross-border platforms. Thereby, receiving many contributions from businesses, managers, and the digital content creation community on tax policies for digital content products serving the international market. Synthesizing opinions, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association has recommended that the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Finance consider applying appropriate tax policies to remove difficulties for businesses operating on YouTube and other cross-border digital platforms. DCCA organized a Forum and Exhibition on Digital Content Creation, Digital Copyright Protection, and Digital Advertising, attracting more than 300 delegates. In addition, DCCA also participated in organizing activities related to digital content creation, copyright protection, cooperation in developing the digital content industry, and applying artificial intelligence. The most prominent was the Seminar on Solving Copyright Protection Problems for the Digital Music - Cinema - Television Industry on September 26, 2023. Through its active activities in 2023, DCCA was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Digital Communications Association at the Conference to summarize the work of 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024 on January 6, 2024. DCCA has quickly become one of the prestigious units in the field of digital content creation in Vietnam.
