Running from now until November 2024, the KEL Award will give eligible Alibaba.com suppliers from seven countries (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) the opportunity to compete in the national round in their markets from August to October 2024.

The top 10 suppliers from the national round will advance to the final round held in Vietnam in November 2024. The top 3 suppliers among them will be honored as KEL Award winners.

Contestants will present how they have leveraged Alibaba.com to grow and expand their export operations, and share strategies that have helped them stand out in the global marketplace.

Judging at the KEL Award will be based on the content and creativity of the presentation, communication and personal branding skills, understanding of the Alibaba.com platform, and ability to respond to questions and articulate a plan to influence and inspire people in the e-commerce community.

The competition is open to owners, key personnel and managers of companies selling on Alibaba.com, with the minimum requirement being a two-star rating or higher and being active on the platform for at least six months.

“Alibaba.com’s KEL Award aims to be a solid launching pad for outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on our platform to demonstrate their sharp business vision and innovation capabilities, while promoting cross-market collaboration and learning…”, said Roger Luo, Regional Director of South Asia and Southeast Asia at Alibaba.com.
