The images show Saar-class corvettes patrolling near the Red Sea port of Eilat, which Israel sees as a new front as the war in Gaza provokes retaliation from pro-Hamas forces elsewhere in the region.
Video footage released by Houthi rebels in Yemen shows a missile being launched at Israel.
The Houthi rebel group said on Tuesday it had carried out three drone and missile attacks on Israel since the Hamas-Israel war began on October 7. The armed movement vowed more such attacks to “help the Palestinians win.”
In what appeared to be a new attack overnight, the Israeli military said it had intercepted an “aerial threat” over the Red Sea.
Israeli National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi said Tuesday that the Houthi attacks were unacceptable, but declined to elaborate when asked how Israel might respond.

The Houthis are part of a regional alliance with Iran and hostile to Israel and the United States, alongside Lebanon's Hezbollah and Iran-backed militias in Iraq.
Houthi fighters rule large swaths of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, more than a thousand miles from Israel. Missiles and drones fired at Israel from the Red Sea region since October 7 have so far been shot down or failed.
In an incident on October 27, Israel said Houthi forces were behind a drone attack that caused explosions in two Egyptian towns on the Red Sea, saying they intended to attack Israel.
