According to the latest information, three more European countries have recognized the state of Palestine despite Israel's objections.
"We originally wanted to recognise Palestine when a peace agreement was reached. However, Ireland has decided to make this move now, along with Spain and Norway, to work towards peace in the region," Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said.

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide hailed the recognition move as "a special day for Norway-Palestine relations".
After the Spanish cabinet moved to recognize the State of Palestine, Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said there was still a long way to go, and Spain was ready to support the Palestinian path to peace.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares is expected to host the foreign ministers of Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye in Madrid to mark Spain's recognition of the State of Palestine.
The plan to recognize the state of Palestine, announced by the three countries last week, immediately caused Israel to react strongly and recall its ambassador for urgent consultations, while also exacerbating diplomatic tensions, especially with Spain.
Palestinian Ambassador to Madrid, Husni Abdel Wahed, thanked the three countries for taking this very important step. He called on other European countries supporting the two-state solution to “demonstrate their commitment and act in accordance with their values”.
Currently, the recognition of Palestinian statehood has caused fierce disagreement within the European Union (EU). For decades, formal recognition of the State of Palestine was seen as the end of the negotiated peace between Israel and Palestine.
With three countries recognizing the State of Palestine, Spain, Norway and Ireland, it means that 145 out of 193 UN member states and 10 out of 27 EU countries recognize the State of Palestine. In 2014, Sweden became the first EU member to recognize the State of Palestine.
Most Western governments, including the United States, have said they are ready to recognize a Palestinian state, but only after the conflict is resolved. The ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip has led to growing calls for recognition of a Palestinian state.

Meanwhile, sources in the Gaza Strip said that Israeli tanks entered the center of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip. This is the latest move by Israel after 3 weeks of fighting in this area.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) tanks are seen near the Al-Awda Mosque, a landmark in the central city of Rafah. A clip posted on social media by Al Jazeera shows the tanks moving deeper into the western part of Rafah.
The Israeli military has not commented on the report, saying it will make a statement about the Rafah operation at a later date. This would be the first time Israeli tanks have entered the center of Rafah.
Meanwhile, the IDF continues to attack Rafah with airstrikes and tank fire, despite international condemnation following an airstrike on a civilian shelter on May 26 that killed at least 45 people. Israeli tanks advanced toward the western part of the city and took up positions on the top of Zurub Hill.
Rafah is the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip, where some 1.4 million Palestinians have sought refuge after being evacuated from other areas of the strip.
Israel began what it described as a controlled ground operation in Rafah earlier this month, despite repeated warnings from the international community, including the United States, that the move could lead to a large-scale humanitarian crisis. Israeli tanks then probed around the edges of Rafah and entered several eastern districts.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) says about one million people have left Rafah in the past three weeks.
