We always ensure that all foreign citizens living and working in Israel, including of course foreign students and interns, will receive special support for those in dangerous areas.
In fact, during the time foreigners live and work in Israel, before conflicts occur, local authorities regularly train people on how to react in unexpected situations. For example, when there is a rocket attack or an attack, how to move to a shelter. This is a task that people involved in international cooperation programs must carry out to ensure the rights and support of foreign students and interns coming to Israel. In the current situation, the support is even more enhanced.

Up to now, people living in places far from the conflict zone still go to work, go to school, and live normally. Cooperation programs between Israel and other countries on receiving interns are still taking place normally. Israel even wants to expand such international cooperation programs with Vietnam . Because the quality of Vietnamese students and interns is very good. Not only that, the demand for interns is becoming higher in Israel because we need to supplement human resources for many industries that are lacking in human resources, especially in the agricultural sector.
Perhaps, we still have to admit that instability will continue to lurk in this region. So, in the upcoming international cooperation programs, especially those accepting interns or researchers, will Israel add any additional measures to ensure the safety of these subjects?
As I said, in the current conflict situation, the number of Israeli workers is very short. Therefore, we want to promote labor cooperation programs. When Vietnamese workers come to Israel to work, we guarantee the same rights as Israeli citizens. Specifically, the salary and welfare regimes of Vietnamese and Israeli workers will be the same.
In addition, we also want to promote cooperation programs to send interns from Vietnam to Israel to study and work. This is a program between Israeli agricultural centers and universities in Vietnam . In addition, we also promote many other programs to increase human resources from Vietnam to Israel.
Of course, we also need to discuss to resolve the problems and concerns related to ensuring the safety of Vietnamese people going to Israel at the present time.
How do you evaluate the cooperation programs, especially economic cooperation, between the two countries in recent times? In the near future, in addition to labor programs, does Israel plan to give more economic cooperation priorities between the two sides?
Over the past time, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Israel has been increasingly expanded in all fields. In July, the two sides signed the Vietnam - Israel Free Trade Agreement (VIFTA), carried out high-level visits, and in many other fields.
I believe that with the potential of both sides, future cooperation activities between Vietnam and Israel will be expanded even more strongly.
