On June 24, 2023, Ha Tinh province held a ceremony to celebrate the 310th anniversary of the birth of Nguyen Huy Oanh (1713-2023), the 280th anniversary of the birth of Nguyen Huy Tu (1743-2023), the 240th anniversary of the birth of Nguyen Huy Ho (1783-2023), and announced is a Documentary Heritage of the Memory of the World Program in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village, Ha Tinh (1689-1943) are a unique collection of handwritten copies, including 26 original royal decrees granted by the kings of the Le and Nguyen dynasties; 19 diplomas and 3 silk banners, written in Han and Nom characters from 1689 to 1943.
This is a rare document on culture and education in a village in Central Vietnam, helping to study the social relations and development history of the village in ancient times, especially in the period from the late 17th century to the mid-20th century./.
