In 2024, many socio-economic indicators of Ia Grai district met and exceeded the plan. According to Mr. Le Ngoc Quy, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia Grai district, the district's budget revenue far surpassed that of other localities in the province. The total state budget revenue for 2024 is estimated at 862,901 million VND, reaching 134% of the plan assigned by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and 109% of the District People's Council Resolution, an increase of 27% compared to 2023.

The province's administrative reform index ranks 3rd; its competitiveness among localities ranks 5th; and growth rates in all three areas (production value, income, and employment) have met or exceeded targets. The economic, social, material, cultural, and spiritual lives of the people have improved and been enhanced.

The total value of production (at 2010 constant prices) in the district is estimated at VND 16,131.4 billion, reaching 100.04% of the plan, an increase of 11.85% compared to 2023. The total cultivated area in the district reached over 51,392 hectares, with many positive results in afforestation and good development in livestock farming.

Many OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from Ia Grai district are highly appreciated by many localities nationwide for their productivity and quality, such as pepper, rubber, coffee, honey, cashew nuts, and bird's nest.

In the areas of natural resources and environment, and compensation and land clearance, the district has completed its plans on time. Many residential planning areas have been put up for auction, developed, and used, helping to create a modern and attractive urban landscape.

Trade and services, industry and handicrafts, and transportation in the district have all made significant leaps forward.
