Thanh Oai District auctions 54 lots of land that was once priced at 100 million/m2

(Dan Tri) - 54 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune, Thanh Oai district (Hanoi) are scheduled to be auctioned on March 1.

Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company has just announced the auction of land use rights for 54 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune, Thanh Oai district (Hanoi).

The total area of ​​54 plots of land is 4,405m2. The plots of land range from 60m2 to 85m2. The starting price ranges from 10.9 million VND to 16.3 million VND/m2. Accordingly, the starting price of the plots of land ranges from over 656 million VND to over 1.3 billion VND. The deposit is 130-265 million VND/plot.

The auction will be conducted in groups of plots of land by direct secret ballot in one round, with an ascending price method. The auction is expected to start on the morning of March 1 at Thanh Oai District Gymnasium.

Previously, on August 10, 2024, also at Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune, Thanh Oai district, an auction of 68 land plots was successfully held. These plots have an area of ​​60-85m2, with starting prices of 8.6-12.5 million VND/m2.

According to information, the auction attracted 4,600 applications, 4,201 qualified applications from 1,545 customers. Notably, at the end of the auction, the corner lot with the highest winning price was nearly 100.5 million VND/m2, 8 times higher than the starting price. The regular lots had winning prices of 63-80 million VND/m2, 5 to 6.4 times higher than the starting price.

Thanh Oai District Land Fund Development Center said that only 13 plots of land had paid in full. The plots with paid money all had winning prices ranging from 51.6 million to over 55 million VND/m2; all plots with winning prices ranging from 80 million VND to over 100 million VND/m2 were forfeited.
