On the afternoon of October 9, Hoang Hoa District People's Committee held a conference to meet and honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs in 2024 in the district on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Business Association (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024).

Attending the meeting were comrade Le Duc Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches; representatives of leaders of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch (VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch); Provincial Business Association; Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association; leaders of Hoang Hoa district, communes, towns and a large number of enterprises, businessmen and investors in the district.
In the first 9 months of 2024, under the direct direction of the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, and the efforts of the business community and all the people, the socio-economy of Hoang Hoa district continued to maintain a good growth momentum, and social security was ensured.
Along with the development of the district, the business community and entrepreneurs of Hoang Hoa district have made rapid progress in both quantity and quality. The structure, scale and fields of operation have changed in accordance with the economic restructuring, efficiency and competitiveness have been improved.
Up to now, there are nearly 1,000 enterprises operating in the district and have made important contributions to the growth and stability of the socio-economy, actively contributing to job creation and income for workers - contributing to the State budget and implementing social security policies. In the first 9 months of 2024, district enterprises paid 64.5 billion VND in taxes; created jobs for nearly 15,000 workers with an average income of 6.5 million VND/person/month.

The business community in the district not only contributes to the local budget but also actively participates in activities to join hands in building new rural areas, contributing to the implementation of social security programs, supporting billions of VND for policy families, poor households, people with disabilities, education and talent promotion funds, supporting people affected by natural disasters, storms and floods and many other meaningful social activities. These practical and meaningful actions have spread widely in the business community and entrepreneurs of Hoang Hoa district, and have been recognized and highly appreciated by the people and authorities at all levels in the district.

Praising the results of the business community and entrepreneurs in the district, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district Le Thanh Hai suggested that businesses and entrepreneurs continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, actively and proactively apply scientific and technological advances, promote the application of digital technology in management and production, business, promote the spirit of creative entrepreneurship, enhance initiative, innovation, boldness in investment and development, especially investment in areas with potential and advantages of the district. Actively participate in social and charitable activities, contribute to the implementation of poverty reduction programs, new rural construction, education and talent promotion.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district requested the Hoang Hoa District Business Association to continue to do a good job in developing members, implementing in accordance with the principles, purposes, functions, tasks, principles of organizing activities, building the association increasingly strong, becoming a bridge between enterprises and state agencies, joining hands with the district Party Committee and government in solving difficulties, obstacles, and social problems for mutual development.
Representatives of the leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Hoa district received support from businesses supporting the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the area.
At the ceremony, the leaders of Hoang Hoa district called on the business community and entrepreneurs to continue to pay attention, join hands and contribute with the local Party Committee and government to carry out the Campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the district. According to statistics of the Hoang Hoa District Business Association, the total amount of money that businesses and entrepreneurs in the district donated to the program was 3.1 billion VND.

On this occasion, Hoang Hoa District People's Committee awarded 30 businessmen who had outstanding achievements in production and business activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of the district in 2024.
Also at the ceremony, 19 businessmen were honored to receive certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Business Association; certificates of merit from the Director of VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the business community in 2024.
