On the morning of February 27, the Provincial Party Committee Office Retirees held a meeting to celebrate the Party, the Year of the Dragon 2024 and the 30th anniversary of its founding.
Attending the event were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; former Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders and former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
Over the past 30 years, the Provincial Party Committee Office Retirement has always maintained its operating routine such as: annually organizing meetings to celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, celebrate longevity; organizing many charitable activities, visiting and encouraging members when they are sick or have risks. In particular, returning to normal life, many retired cadres of the Provincial Party Committee Office have actively participated in Party and mass organization activities at their place of residence, always being shining examples in activities; actively mobilizing and educating their children and grandchildren to strictly follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations. Currently, the Provincial Party Committee Office Retirement has 46 members. Among them, many comrades have been awarded the 65-year, 60-year, 50-year Party membership badges, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan expressed his joy and excitement when attending the friendly and cozy meeting, which is a traditional, humane and lively beauty that has been regularly maintained by the Provincial Party Committee Office Retirees since its establishment.
On the occasion of the beginning of the Year of the Dragon, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan wished retired officials of the Provincial Party Committee Office good health, joy and happiness. Happy to announce the outstanding results achieved by the province in 2023 - the mid-term year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said: In 2023, besides the advantages, there are still many difficulties and challenges, but with the efforts and determination of the Party Committee, government, army and people in the province, the province has completed and exceeded 14/17 targets of the year; GRDP growth rate reached 7.27%, ranking 23rd in the country. Industrial production maintained its growth rate.
Tourism and services have developed strongly, ranking among the top 15 destinations in the world, among the top 10 provinces with the highest number of visitors in the country, the whole province welcomed over 6.5 million visitors, the growth rate reached 13.23% (ranked 2nd in the country). Local defense, military, political security, social order and safety are maintained...
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the overall achievement had important contributions from the team of retired cadres of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized a number of major orientations and goals of the province in the future and in 2024, in which the general goal is to basically achieve the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030, and to become a centrally-run city by 2035, taking the characteristics of a millennium heritage city and a creative city as core values. The Provincial Party Secretary said that to achieve the above goals, more cooperation and contributions from the team of retired cadres of the Provincial Party Committee Office are needed.
At the same time, I hope that in the future, the Retired Provincial Party Committee Office will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, contribute their strength and intelligence to contribute to building a cultural and civilized neighborhood, regardless of their position, always continue to preserve the tradition of Office cadres; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, be a solid support for the younger generation, have many enthusiastic and intellectual contributions in building the Party, the political system, in improving the quality of activities of the Party Committee Office, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee Office Retirees presented longevity gifts to a number of outstanding members.
