Operational and methodological guidance, support for victims of domestic violence

Tan Son District People's Procuracy in coordination with the District's Project 8 Executive Board has just organized a training course on operation and methods, supporting victims of domestic violence according to the Handbook on establishing and operating a trusted address of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for representatives of organizations, cultural officials, and members of the Community Communication Team of Thu Cuc commune.

Representatives of organizations, cultural officials, and members of the Community Communications Team attended the training course.

At the training course, delegates acquired knowledge about the Law on Gender Equality; Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control; skills in operating trusted addresses, supporting victims of domestic violence; skills in identifying domestic violence, skills in approaching, consulting, supporting, and stabilizing the psychology of victims of violence; the role of the Women's Union at all levels and relevant departments, branches, and organizations in building, implementing, and maintaining the effective operation of the "Trusted Address" model in the community... Basic contents of the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control in 2022, contributing to limiting early divorce in the district.

Thereby, promptly helping cases of women and children who are vulnerable to violence and abuse; consulting and resolving conflicts and discord in marriage and family as well as issues related to social order in the locality. At the same time, coordinate propaganda to raise awareness, mobilize and grasp the situation and thoughts of local people to promptly have proactive directions to prevent and promptly overcome cases leading to the emergence of domestic violence, social evils and issues prohibited by law, contributing to ensuring the security, order and social safety situation in the locality .
