Trainees in Ha Tinh will update new knowledge about occupational diseases covered by insurance for medical staff; understand the process and content of occupational disease detection and periodic examination.
On the afternoon of May 16, nearly 50 medical staff from general and specialized hospitals and medical centers across the province were directly trained by lecturers from the Institute of Occupational and Environmental Health - Ministry of Health on how to examine and record occupational diseases.

At the training course, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Head of the Department of Occupational Diseases, Institute of Occupational Health and Environment - Ministry of Health presented documents of the Ministry of Health guiding the management and assessment of occupational diseases, in which, special attention is paid to occupational COVID-19; list of occupational diseases covered by insurance in countries around the world, in Vietnam; occupational diseases covered by insurance in medical staff.
At the same time, the trainees were also guided by lecturers from the Institute of Occupational Health and Environment - Ministry of Health in organizing occupational health examinations, including records, procedures, and contents of occupational disease detection examinations; periodic examinations for workers with occupational diseases and records of health management of workers.
Dr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Head of the Department of Occupational Diseases, Institute of Occupational Health and Environment - Ministry of Health directly guides the examination and establishment of occupational COVID-19 disease records for medical staff in Ha Tinh.
Through the training course, trainees were updated with new knowledge about occupational diseases covered by insurance for medical staff, understood the process, content of occupational disease detection and periodic examination, medical records, examination forms and occupational disease record management... from which they could implement at their units.
On the same morning, the Institute of Occupational Health and Environment - Ministry of Health also trained Formosa Ha Tinh Hung Nghiep Company Limited on health care for workers and prevention of occupational diseases for workers working at the company. This is an opportunity for company managers to understand the regulations of the Ministry of Health on health care for workers and prevention of occupational diseases for workers.
According to Article 1 of Appendix 35 issued with Circular 02/2023/TT-BYT, occupational COVID-19 is a disease that arises during the work process due to workers being exposed to the SARS-Cov-2 virus in the working environment. |
