Hung Ha: Half term 2020 - 2025, economic growth rate is estimated at 10.93%/year

On the afternoon of October 16, Hung Ha District Party Committee held a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

In the 2020-2025 term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, thanks to flexibility and creativity in leadership and direction, along with the consensus and high determination of the entire political system, Hung Ha's socio-economic situation has improved, many targets have been achieved and exceeded the Congress's goals. In particular, the economic growth rate is estimated at 10.93%/year; the budget revenue growth rate in the area is estimated at 17.25%/year; the average income per capita is nearly 56 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 2.05%, the employment rate has reached 97.62%. In addition, the district has issued a support mechanism for localities in building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas; building OCOP products; the program "Lighting up the countryside". The district successfully organized the final television program of the "Road to Olympia" contest for the 22nd year and the "Support to School" gala program. Party building work was strengthened, 5 specialized resolutions, 1 project and many directives were issued; 454 new party members were admitted; 21 party cells carried out the construction of model party cells; 20% of grassroots party organizations excellently completed their tasks; 73.8% of party members completed their tasks well. Administrative reform, digital transformation, and e-government construction associated with discipline and public service discipline have had positive changes.

In the remaining half of the term, Hung Ha district continues to innovate leadership, direction and management methods in organizing the implementation of tasks, striving for an economic growth rate of 10.79%/year or higher; a budget revenue growth rate in the area of 9% or higher; per capita income reaching and exceeding the average of the province; 33% of communes meeting the criteria for advanced new rural areas; 10% of communes meeting the criteria for model new rural areas; reducing the scale of poor households by 1/3 in the period of 2021 - 2025; continuing to invest in building the infrastructure system of 2 towns to meet the criteria for type 4 urban areas; building Thai Phuong commune to meet the criteria for type 5 urban areas.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the results achieved by Hung Ha district in the past half term; basically agreed with the group, the tasks and solutions set out by the district in the remaining half term. He requested that the cadres and people of Hung Ha district must have high political determination, have a receptive spirit, overcome shortcomings and limitations to perform well the tasks in the coming time; continue to promote the propaganda work to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; strengthen the great solidarity bloc of the people to build a clean and strong Party organization and political system; regularly supplement practical solutions; assign specific tasks to each cadre and party member; promote local potential and advantages, mobilize all resources, focus on promoting economic development, especially agricultural economy, in which attention is paid to applying science and technology into production to form model cooperatives; Promote the development of industry, handicrafts, trade, services, and tourism; improve the criteria for building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; focus on attracting investment in quality projects in the area; take care of education, health care, and social security; improve the effectiveness of state management in all fields, consolidate security and order; train cadres, effectively carry out the rotation of cadres; improve the fighting capacity of grassroots party organizations; proactively resolve people's petitions right from the grassroots, without avoiding or pushing them away...
