Ahead of the Miss International 2024 final, how does Thanh Thuy evaluate the performance in the semi-final night? Looking at the other contestants, who do you think are the most outstanding so far?

I found my performance to be quite good after going through the 2 rounds. I hope that the judges can feel what I want to convey through my answers.

As for the other contestants, each girl shines in her own way. There are many girls who stand out in terms of physical appearance and there are also girls who stand out in terms of their behavior. It will be difficult to judge yourself and the contestants. I think the judges and the audience will have the most objective perspective.

What difficulties did Thanh Thuy encounter during the competition and did losing her phone make Thanh Thuy confused?

Many people think that taking an exam in a foreign country alone will be difficult, but for me, facing difficulties gives me more experiences and lessons. Actually, I didn't lose my phone, but I went to another province and forgot my phone in Tokyo.

For 2 days, I could not contact anyone in Vietnam, at first I was anxious. However, I was very lucky to have the love and support from the reigning Miss International and other representatives. Everyone helped me share pictures, update activities to the audience as well as the crew to feel secure.

What were the most memorable moments during your journey to Miss International? Who is Thanh Thuy's best friend and what did you learn from them?

Every day, every activity I participated in left me with wonderful memories. I got to travel to many different provinces in Japan and experience many new things in Japanese culture. Above all, I felt the hospitality that the Japanese people showed to me and other contestants. The moment I saw the Vietnamese flag in a foreign land really moved me.

My closest friend at the competition was the Japanese representative - who was also my roommate. As the host country representative, he supported me a lot when needed and also taught me more about the Japanese language.

What do you expect to be your strong point in the final tonight (November 12)?

I am preparing and practicing for the upcoming finals. I just hope that I can perform to the best of my ability. I also hope that my sincerity throughout this journey will be recognized by the judges.

What is the biggest growth from this competition for Thanh Thuy?

Before, I used to be quite shy, sometimes even lacking in self-confidence. But entering the journey to the Miss International contest, I overcame those invisible barriers. Now, I am more mature in my thinking, more courageous and ready to face challenges to conquer my dream.
