On the afternoon of July 6, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reporters asked whether the recent riots in France have affected the lives of Vietnamese people in this country. In response to this question, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said:

Regarding the recent situation in some French cities, the Vietnamese Embassy in France has been regularly monitoring developments, assigning staff to the hotline and ready to promptly support Vietnamese citizens in case of difficulties or impacts.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, up to now, there have been no recorded cases of Vietnamese people being affected by this incident.
Following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in France has issued recommendations for Vietnamese citizens living, studying and working in France.
