Steering Committee meeting to summarize Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and reorganize the apparatus of the political system of Quang Tri province

This afternoon, December 24, the Steering Committee for summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee and reorganizing the apparatus of the political system of Quang Tri province (Steering Committee) held its second conference to approve the summary report of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the plan for reorganizing the apparatus in the province.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Long Hai chaired the conference. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; advisory agencies, and working groups assisting the Steering Committee attended the conference.

At the conference, the Steering Committee gave comments on completing the summary report of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW to serve the province's summary conference; gave opinions on the plan to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department so that when there is a resolution from the Central Committee, the province will implement it; the plan to end the activities of the Party delegations, Party executive committees, Party Committees of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, establish 2 Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; the plan to end the activities of the Provincial Cadre Health Care Protection Board; instructions on arranging the organization of the provincial and district-level government apparatus.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Long Hai asked members of the Steering Committee to focus on researching and giving opinions to complete the draft summary report of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the province.

Focusing on analyzing and evaluating the causes and results achieved in implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW in the province in recent years to serve as a basis for continuing to implement according to central regulations in the coming time.
