In addition to introducing new versions for a series of motorbikes, Honda Vietnam also adjusted the listed prices for these models.Honda Vietnam (HVN) has just launched a series of new large-capacity motorbikes (2024 generation) including: CB650R, CBR650R, CB500 Hornet, NX500, CBR500R and CRF1100L Africa Twin. These models are all upgraded with many new details, with the company's affirmation of a first-of-its-kind motorcycle technology appearing in the world. The new series of motorbikes enjoys many advantages when HVN has created a suitable ecosystem for motorbike owners with the DreamWing large-capacity motorbike store system, the +84 Honda Bikers community and maintains the Bikers' Rally organization, an iconic playground for all riders. The 2024 generation of large-displacement motorbikes will officially be sold on the market in September 2024 at the Honda DreamWing Large-Displacement Motorcycle Store system with the listed price adjusted as follows:
Honda's new price list for motorcycle models
Among the new motorcycles, the CB650R and CBR650R duo are said to possess the most modern technology as they are the first Honda products to possess the Honda E-Clutch electronic clutch technology. This feature eliminates the need to use the clutch lever when shifting up or down, allowing the rider to only use the gear lever and still be able to shift gears quickly, smoothly and stably, similar to when using a quick-shifter, while also helping to eliminate the phenomenon of jerking gears, providing a smooth driving experience.
Honda CB650R adds new E-Clutch technology Both models are refreshed in design and technology, especially equipped with a new 5-inch TFT screen that provides clear display even in daylight. In particular, the Honda CB650R has a Neo Sports Café style that has been upgraded to become more flexible, dynamic and powerful. The CBR650R has a redesigned dual LED headlight cluster that harmonizes with the plastic and the rear of the vehicle has been refined.
The Honda CBR650R also received a similar upgrade. The remaining models all received design tweaks and minor technological additions to make them more appealing to consumers. The Honda CB500 Hornet has a powerful new design, inspired by its two legendary "seniors", the vehicle is equipped with air vents next to the headlights to help direct the airflow, the new LED cluster has a wider lighting range. This motorcycle owns a 471cc engine with a capacity of 37.1kW and torque of 43Nm, with upgraded electronic fuel injection settings and equipped with the HSTC Traction Control System.
Honda CB500 Hornet The new Honda NX500 with an all-terrain design, which is developed based on the success of the CB500X with many other performance upgrades. In particular, the vehicle's weight is reduced by 3kg, the 41mm Showa USD fork is adjusted to bring a more stable driving feeling, the new 5-inch TFT screen and the refreshed front end are also notable points of this model.
New Honda NX500 The 2024 Honda CBR500R continues to draw inspiration from the legendary Fireblade line, featuring a sharp new design from the headlights, taillights and slimmed-down body details. In addition, the vehicle has a new color decal with the typical Fireblade style, new fuel injection settings for improved acceleration at low rpm and a new colorful 5-inch TFT screen controlled by backlit buttons.
Honda CBR500R The CRF1100L Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports have been specially upgraded with a 7% increase in peak torque, available at 750 rpm lower. The Africa Twin is equipped with the optional Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa EERA™) system, which can change the rear spring compression on the fly via the 6.5-inch touchscreen. The bike is equipped with tubeless tires, making it easier to repair problems on the road, along with a larger, 5-position adjustable windscreen.
Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Meanwhile, the 2024 Africa Twin Adventure Sports version is designed to provide long-distance performance on intercontinental roads. The vehicle has 19-inch diameter wheels and larger 110/80-19 tires, providing traction and increased stability. The front and rear suspension travel is reduced to 210 and 200mm, and the seat height is lowered to 820/840mm, suitable for Vietnamese customers.
