(GLO)- On May 23 and 24, at the 15-9 Hall, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Kong Chro district (Gia Lai province) to organize the 2023 Lark Singing Festival for primary and secondary school students.
The festival was attended by 15 delegations with more than 800 students from primary and secondary schools in the district.

The units participating in the festival performed more than 70 acts in 5 genres: solo, duet, trio, group singing and dance with themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the Youth Union, Association, Pioneers, national traditions, homeland, childhood, grandparents, parents, teachers and friends.
According to the Organizing Committee, the units have carefully prepared costumes and props through stage performances with sweet, deep voices, attracting the attention of a large audience.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes for each category; and also awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 2 consolation prizes to the participating units in each competition block. Accordingly, in the Primary block, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Primary School won the first prize; in the Secondary block, Quang Trung Secondary School won the first prize. In addition, the Chairman of the District People's Committee also awarded prizes to the 2 units that won the first prize.
This is one of the activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Kong Chro district (May 30, 1988 - May 30, 2023).
