More than 60 startups have received funding from 'shark' investors

After 6 seasons, more than 60 startups have received funding from investors inside and outside the Shark Tank program. The most recent deal received the highest investment value of 500,000 USD.

On the afternoon of July 15, speaking at the announcement of Shark Tank Vietnam season 7, Ms. Le Hanh - General Director of TV Hub, the organizer of Shark Tank - said that after 6 years of broadcasting, this reality TV show about calling for investment capital for startups has introduced 291 business models to investors (Sharks) and successfully connected 174 deals. Along with that, more than 60 startups have received capital from investors inside and outside the program. Up to now, 5 startups participating in Shark Tank season 6 have received investment capital from the "sharks". Of which, Banh Mi Xin Chao set a record as the first startup of season 6 to complete business appraisal and received 500,000 USD from Shark Binh. After receiving investment, this start-up quickly developed the chain to 20 points of sale in Japan in just 6 months. Digital lighting technology start-up Huepress also passed the business appraisal round and received 100,000 USD in investment capital from Shark Tue Lam. In addition, Shark Tue Lam and Shark Erik have also completed capital injection for sales management software - sales books. Many other start-ups continue to perfect their business models and achieve growth milestones after participating in the program. Marking the 7-year milestone with 100 episodes, Shark Tank 2024 will increase the connection of bold start-up ideas with enthusiastic investors. At the same time, sharing knowledge and experience in business and start-up through 42 investment calls and thrilling mind games with the "sharks" of the start-ups. The start-ups also have the opportunity to bring their products globally when this year's "sharks" have international elements. Accordingly, German “Lion” Tillman Schulz became an investor in Shark Tank Vietnam, looking for start-ups in the culinary, pharmaceutical, and fast-moving consumer goods industries with export potential. Tillman Schulz is known as a third-generation businessman of a multi-industry corporation in Germany, and is also a Lion (lion - investor) of The Lion's Den, a television program of VOX channel (Germany) similar to Shark Tank. Wishing to maintain and continue to expand the group's business projects in Vietnam, Tillman Schulz decided to become an investor in Shark Tank Vietnam. He said he prioritizes looking for start-ups operating in the culinary, pharmaceutical, and fast-moving consumer goods industries with export potential to international markets.
