More than 580 million VND donated to disadvantaged children in Quang Ngai province

On the morning of April 11, the program "Journey of Life" to give bicycles and gifts to children in difficult circumstances in Quang Ngai province was held at Nghia Chanh Secondary School, Quang Ngai City, Quang Ngai province.

The program is organized by the Vietnam Children's Fund (VCF) in coordination with the Traffic Police Department and the National Traffic Safety Committee.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the "Journey of Life" Program presented 271 bicycles, learning equipment, sports equipment and many gifts with a total value of 585 million VND to disadvantaged children in Quang Ngai province.

In particular, the organizing committee also coordinated with Nghia Chanh Secondary School to launch and organize the U12 football tournament for the AIA Vietnam Cup. This physical activity provides students with an additional useful playground, enhancing the habit of exercise and physical training in school.

Officially launched in 2014, "Life Journey" is a series of events to give away bicycles, life insurance contracts and gifts to disadvantaged children across the country.

In addition, the Program also contributes to promoting child protection and care and conveying messages about proper behavior, strictly complying with traffic laws and raising awareness of environmental protection.

The program has been maintained and developed by BTTEVN Fund in coordination with AIA Vietnam, local authorities and Children's Protection Funds of provinces and cities over the past decade. 2024 is the 11th consecutive year of the "Journey of Life" program.

According to the plan, the Organizing Committee will present more than 2,000 bicycles, sports equipment and thousands of gifts to disadvantaged children nationwide.

Up to now, the program has donated more than 25,000 bicycles, more than 700 life insurance contracts worth 20 million VND (These contracts will expire when the children turn 18 years old and the insurance money will help them cover the costs to continue their education.

From there, help them continue their dream of knowledge and pursue their dream careers).

Along with tens of thousands of scholarships, school supplies, life jackets, clean water tanks, library and school equipment... the program sent to disadvantaged children in more than 55 provinces and cities nationwide.

In addition to the Life Journey program series, other activities have also made a strong impression in the community such as the tree planting program For a green planet with more than 23 thousand trees planted in the past 3 years, the healthy school program;

At the same time, we provide relief to people affected by natural disasters and floods, donate rice and school supplies to children in epidemic areas, award scholarships, study encouragement awards, life jackets, and organize free health check-ups, youth football festivals, and humanitarian blood donation programs...
