More than 34 thousand candidates in Dong Nai enter the 2024 High School Graduation Exam

Of the more than 34,000 candidates taking the high school graduation exam in Dong Nai province, there are nearly 28,000 high school candidates and more than 6,000 continuing education candidates. Compared to the 2023 exam, this year there are nearly 1,000 more candidates. Dong Nai province's high school graduation exam council (code 48) with 62 exam locations, this is one of the exam councils with the most candidates in the country.

According to records, on the morning of June 27, the exam took place as planned. The officers and teachers in charge of organizing and supervising the exam are trying their best to fulfill their duties, creating a comfortable atmosphere for candidates to take the first exam according to the exam regulations.

The security and safety work at the exam sites was coordinated smoothly by the functional forces. In the morning of the same day, the weather in Dong Nai was favorable, with light sunshine and cool air.

In the mountainous district of Tan Phu, Dak Lua High School only has 80 candidates, so it is impossible to organize an on-site exam site. Therefore, the school coordinated with the Parents' Representative Committee to arrange 2 45-seat cars to take the students about 60km to the district center at the exam site of Doan Ket High School along with candidates from other high schools in the district from the morning of June 26 to attend the exam.

During the 3 days, these 80 students stayed at the dormitory of Tan Phu-Dinh Quan Inter-district Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Tan Phu town) to facilitate their participation in the exam.

Previously, in recent days, leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Department of Education and Training, many related departments, branches and authorities of 11 districts and cities inspected the preparation work at the examination sites.

The Dong Nai Province High School Graduation Examination Council 2024 held a conference to deploy exam invigilation procedures and required each officer and teacher mobilized to perform the task to fully understand the regulations, properly perform the assigned tasks; at the same time, coordinate to properly handle situations arising during the exam organization process.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung and Director of the Department of Education and Training Truong Thi Kim Hue inspected the exam paper storage area at Tran Bien High School exam site.

To ensure the High School Graduation Exam takes place seriously and safely, relevant functional departments of Dong Nai province mobilized nearly 6,000 officials, teachers, police, medical staff and a number of other forces to participate in organizing the exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training has also mobilized 175 officials to perform inspection duties at the Dong Nai Province High School Graduation Examination Council, including the following schools: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, and Hong Bang International University.
