(GLO)- On the morning of June 1, at Bin Ben swimming pool (16 Tran Quoc Toan, Ayun Pa town, Gia Lai province), the 2023 Happy Children's Swimming Tournament took place. The tournament had the participation of more than 30 athletes in Ayun Pa town, aged 9-15.

Athletes compete in 3 age groups: 9-11 years old, 12-13 years old and 14-15 years old. In each age group, there are 2 breaststroke events for men and women with distances of 50 m and 100 m.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 24 medals to the athletes, including 6 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 12 bronze medals. In addition, all athletes participating in the tournament received a free swimming ticket at Bin Ben swimming pool in June.
This is the first private swimming tournament held in Ayun Pa town to create a useful and healthy playground for children; thereby promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, preventing drowning accidents during the summer.
