The 2023 Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament has a sharp increase in the number of athletes and clubs registered to participate compared to last year.
The 4th Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament in 2023 attracted more than 260 athletes from 37 clubs to register to participate.
According to the tournament organizing committee, this year there are 37 table tennis clubs across the province with more than 260 athletes registered to participate. Among them are many clubs with strong movements such as: Thanh Dong, Nhat Long (Ha Tinh City), Formosa Ha Tinh (Vung Ang Economic Zone), Duc Tho, Huong Khe, Hong Phuc Aluminum and Glass....
On the afternoon of June 15, the clubs will draw lots to schedule the matches. The tournament will officially start from June 16-18, 2023 at the Ha Tinh Sports Training and Competition Center.
This year, athletes participating in the tournament will compete in 6 events (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, team), divided into 3 age groups (under 35 years old, from 36 to 50 years old, from 51 years old and above).
Preparations for the tournament have been completed.
At this point, the final preparations for medical care, referees, and staff on duty at the tournament have basically been completed. The conditions for organizing the tournament at the stadium such as electricity, air conditioning, and lighting are guaranteed. The stadium is spacious, equipped with 8 sets of tables (including nets, ball guards), and standard competition balls according to regulations.
With careful and thoughtful preparation, the 4th Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament 2023 is ready for the opening day, awaiting highly professional matches and fierce competitions of athletes.
The 2023 Ha Tinh Newspaper Open Club Table Tennis Tournament is organized to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ha Tinh (June 15, 1957 - June 15, 2023), the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023) and major holidays in 2023. The tournament aims to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"; promote the movement of physical training and sports; develop the movement of training, competition and exchange between table tennis clubs in the whole province. |
