More than 2.5 billion VND to build internal roads in Mon Ha village

Leaders of Muong Ang district performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Mon Ha internal road, Xuan Lao commune.

The Mon Ha internal road project is a type C, level IV rural road with a total length of nearly 800m and a road width of 3.5m. After completion, the project will be equipped with solar-powered lighting throughout the route.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat, Secretary of Muong Ang District Party Committee, said that Mon Ha village has 156 households, nearly 800 people, 100% of whom are ethnic minorities, the rate of poor and near-poor households accounts for over 43%. People's lives in the village still face many difficulties, depending on agricultural production. In particular, the road inside Mon Ha village is seriously degraded, causing slippery roads, affecting people's lives and activities. To promptly overcome the above situation, Muong Ang district leaders have called for the help of some philanthropists to invest and build the road.

The construction unit removed the fence because people voluntarily donated land to widen the road in Mon Ha village.

The project has a small investment cost but has a particularly important political significance, because in addition to the 100% investment cost from socialized sources, all land, assets, crops, and affected structures were voluntarily donated by the people to widen the road with an area of ​​nearly ^2,000m2 .

The internal road of Mon Ha village, Xuan Lao commune is expected to be completed before Lunar New Year 2024 to serve people's traffic and travel .
