Vietnam's economy has grown strongly in the first quarter of 2024, with GDP increasing by 5.66% over the same period last year. According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, after the first 3 months of the year, registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in our country reached more than 6.17 billion USD, up 13.4%. In particular, Vietnam's mining industry is forecast to continue to grow by 8.19% per year in the period 2024 - 2028 (Statista, May 2023). In that trend, in order to create momentum for dynamic and sustainable development for our country's mining and construction industry, Informa Markets Vietnam brings the Mining Vietnam 2024 exhibition back to the National Exhibition Center for Architecture, Planning and Construction (NECC) from April 24-26, 2024. Mining Vietnam is the region's leading prestigious exhibition held every two years, bringing together hundreds of the most advanced mining, mineral processing and construction materials technologies from around the world.

This year, the exhibition covers a total area of over 6,000m2 , bringing together more than 200 leading domestic and international enterprises from 17 countries and territories, including: UK, India, Poland, Republic of Zambia, Taiwan (China), Germany, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, USA, Japan, France, Singapore, China, Australia, Vietnam and Italy. In addition to the business booths, the event also welcomes 3 international groups of booths from India, Australia and China. The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 professional visitors.

Typical examples include the seminar "Circular Economy and the Contribution of the Mining Industry" organized by Informa Markets in collaboration with Hanoi University of Mining and Geology from 13:30 - 17:00 on April 24, 2024, or the seminar "Potential and Development Direction of Non-Conventional Energy Exploitation in Vietnam" co-organized by the Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources taking place on April 26, 2024, from 08:30 - 11:40 within the framework of the exhibition.
