Provincial Literature and Arts Association summarizes activities in 2024 and deploys tasks in 2025

On the morning of December 26, in Ha Long city, the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a conference to summarize activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025.

In 2024, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has paid attention to innovating activities, encouraging artists to constantly gain experience and be active in artistic creation. The organization of literary and artistic activities has been constantly innovated, the scale and quality have been improved, attracting the attention and response of a large number of artists and people.

Coordination with localities and sectors to carry out activities such as opening creative camps, going on creative field trips and organizing cultural events has contributed to enhancing the role and effectiveness of literature and art in the cultural life of the people and implementing political tasks of localities and the province.

Specifically, the Association has organized 8 creative field trips in and out of the province; organized creative competitions for various art forms with many high results; organized 3 fine arts and photography exhibitions on major holidays, 5 seminars to promote and train professional skills in the fields of literature, music, fine arts, photography, and folk arts.

Members have won many awards in national, regional and provincial literary and artistic competitions; 2 members were awarded the title of People's Artist and 2 members were awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.

The Board of Directors of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association presented the decision to admit new members.

In 2025, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association will focus on advising the Provincial People's Committee to approve the following projects: "Developing literature and arts in Quang Ninh province for the period 2024-2030"; "Organizing literature and arts associations according to the model of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Quang Ninh province"; organizing the Congress of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Quang Ninh province for the term 2024-2029; perfecting the organizational structure, streamlining according to regulations. At the same time, well organizing creative camps, field trips to create, announce, and perform works according to plan; summarizing and awarding prizes for the Creative Competitions of works: Music, Literature, Fine Arts; advising on organizing the International Artistic Photography Contest on Quang Ninh province with the theme "I love Quang Ninh".

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association awarded decisions to admit 19 new members; commended 13 collectives and 35 individuals with outstanding achievements in literary and artistic activities in 2024.
