Contest to display the King's Five-fruit Tray and award the Ao Dai Photo Contest with Ninh Binh tourism in 2024

Within the framework of Hoa Lu Festival 2024, on April 17 (9th of the third lunar month), the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) organized the "Five-fruit tray for the King" exhibition contest and awarded prizes in the "Ao Dai with Ninh Binh tourism" online photo contest 2024.

The contest "The King's Five-Fruit Tray" had 8 teams representing 8 districts and cities in the province. The teams demonstrated their ingenuity in displaying the King's five-fruit tray; explaining the idea of the King's five-fruit tray according to the characteristics of each locality. The entries were selected by the units with different themes, demonstrating the unique traditional culture of each region.

The "Five-fruit tray for the King" contest is chaired and organized annually by the Provincial Women's Union on the occasion of Hoa Lu Festival to propagate and educate female cadres and members about the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", the spirit of solidarity of the Vietnamese people; to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh and King Ly Thai To in the cause of building and defending the country. Thereby contributing to propagating the unique traditional cultural heritage values of Ninh Binh to people inside and outside the province...

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Tam Diep City Women's Union team; 3 second prizes to the Hoa Lu, Nho Quan and Yen Khanh district teams; 4 third prizes to the Yen Mo district teams, Ninh Binh city, Gia Vien and Kim Son. After the contest, the Provincial Women's Union offered a ceremony and displayed the prize-winning fruit trays at the Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang and the Temple of King Le Dai Hanh.

* On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union organized the award ceremony of the online photo contest "Ao Dai with Ninh Binh tourism" in 2024.

The contest received active participation from a large number of women and people in the province. There were 540 photo albums submitted to the contest. After reviewing and selecting, the Organizing Committee chose to post 132 personal photo albums and 86 collective photo albums on the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union fanpage, receiving more than 2 million interactions.

The Organizing Committee scored round 1 based on the number of interactions according to the statistics of the Automatic Control Panel (including likes, shares, comments, etc.) on the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union fanpage and selected 16 photo albums with the highest number of interactions in each group.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 24 groups and individuals with a total cash prize value of 18,100,000 VND.

The contest aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women and the traditional ao dai, imbued with national cultural identity, while promoting and spreading the image of Ninh Binh tourism, Ninh Binh women and activities of the Women's Union at all levels.

The contest is also one of the activities of the Women's Union at all levels in the province to celebrate the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024); 1,056 years of Dai Co Viet State; 10 years of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage (2014-2024); towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
