Creative contest "Green Convergence Fashion

This is one of the events responding to the General Environmental Sanitation Launch Ceremony of Binh Thuan Tourism Day, also an opportunity to promote the National Tourism Year 2023 with the very practical theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" held last night (October 21) at Thuan Tien Garment Company Limited.

The contest was held to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20), to welcome the Vietnam Trade Union Congress; and to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the company's founding. Attending the contest were Mr. Nguyen Huu Bang - Secretary of the Youth Union of provincial agencies and enterprises, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and more than 1,000 employees of the entire company.

The contest is quite special with costumes made from waste materials such as paper, plastic, nylon bags, fabric, natural materials... to promote awareness and actions to protect the environment among union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to changing awareness about the use of recycled items, towards changing thinking and actions to protect the environment.

With 27 performances by 26 trade union groups created from used waste materials, demonstrating the creativity and careful preparation of the teams, they brought colorful costumes to the competition. Not only meeting aesthetic needs, these costumes also sent messages to the audience and the community about the harmful effects of plastic waste on the environment.

Through the contest, the company wants to create a useful playground, healthy entertainment, to motivate and help the workforce to stick with the Association. At the same time, to arouse potential and develop thinking, creativity in work, as well as raise awareness of environmental protection, protection of natural resources of the homeland and country.

At the end of the contest, the company awarded 1 Best Prize, 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes, 6 Fourth Prizes, and 13 Consolation Prizes. In addition, the company also awarded 3 additional prizes to the contestant with the best performance, the contestant with the most beautiful costume, and the performance with the most unique and creative content.
