Attending the workshop were Comrade To Van Tu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; representatives of the Scientific Council, Institutes under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; leaders of departments, branches, and organizations of the province; district and city Party Committees; and a number of communes and towns in the province honored to receive Uncle Ho's visit.
Opening the workshop, comrade Luu Van Hien, Principal of the Provincial Political School, said: It is an honor and pride that Ninh Binh has been visited by Uncle Ho five times. Each place name, each countryside in the land of the historic ancient capital, where he set foot, has left unforgettable memories, kind greetings, noble, profound lessons, full of great humanity, is a vivid historical evidence, respected and preserved by the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Binh through generations.
Deeply remembering Uncle Ho's teachings, over the past 65 years, the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Binh have continuously promoted the strength of national solidarity, strived to compete, boost production development, practiced thrift, been proactive and creative, promoted and exploited potentials and advantages, joined hands and hearts to overcome difficulties and challenges, step by step built Ninh Binh province rich and strong and increasingly developed, served people's lives more practically, created people's firm trust in the Party as Uncle Ho always wished. The achievements gained throughout the process of building and developing the province, especially the achievements, together with the lessons learned over nearly 40 years of innovation, are valuable assets, practical foundations and important motivations for Ninh Binh province to develop breakthroughs in the next period.
Along with practical and meaningful activities towards the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh, the Workshop "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" is a forum for experts, researchers and all of us to look back on the 65 years of Ninh Binh implementing Uncle Ho's teachings.
The workshop was held with important historical, political and scientific significance, aiming to evaluate, summarize and widely propagate the outstanding achievements that the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Ninh Binh province have achieved after 65 years of implementing Uncle Ho's instructions when he visited Ninh Binh. At the same time, further raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, creatively applying them to practical life, production, study and work; creating new motivation and new spirit to continue building and developing Ninh Binh province to be rich, civilized, prosperous and happy.
In his opening speech at the Scientific Workshop, Comrade Dinh Van Nghia, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized: In recent years, the province has widely and regularly implemented the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, achieving important results, creating a strong impact throughout the Party, the political system and the people. The effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has created clear changes, contributing practically to the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system. The forms of organizing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle are increasingly rich and diverse, making his ideology, morality and lifestyle truly a solid spiritual foundation in social life.
To continue improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda, education, raising awareness, and creating a basis for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the whole Ninh Binh province, at the Workshop, he requested delegates and scientists to propose new approaches, analyze, explain, and clarify the basic issues of: Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style - Theoretical and practical values; Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and People studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; Responsibility of cadres and Party members to set an example according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology; Identify and fight against some wrong views, distortions, and denials of Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style in the current period.
With a serious, responsible, scientific and deeply practical working spirit, at the Workshop, the opinions exchanged and discussed by delegates, experts and scientists focused on analyzing and objectively evaluating the achieved results, limitations and difficulties in implementing the Politburo's directive documents, especially Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (terms XI, XII, XIII) and Conclusion No. 21 of the 4th Central Committee Conference, term XIII associated with promoting the study and following of Uncle Ho; the effectiveness of promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle...
From there, share experiences, propose orientations, goals, tasks, and solutions to continue studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, realizing the goal of building Ninh Binh into a tourism center of the country; strive to be a province with average development by 2025, and become a fairly developed province in the Red River Delta by 2030, basically meeting the criteria of a centrally-run city, truly a regional and national tourism center, with global value.
