Attending the workshop were leaders and former leaders of the school; leaders of political centers of districts and cities.
According to the report presented at the conference, Hoang Van Thu Political School, formerly Lang Son Provincial Party School, was established on November 20, 1949, in Na Dai village, Tan Van commune, Binh Gia district.
Over 75 years of construction and development, the school has changed locations, splits, and merged many times. When it was first established, it was the Party School, then its name was changed to the School for Training and Fostering Cadres; the Provincial Political School; and the Hoang Van Thu Political School.
At first, the school only opened classes for elementary theoretical training, then upgraded to intermediate political theory training. Regardless of any difficult circumstances, the school always fulfilled the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee. The staff, civil servants and workers gradually increased in quantity and quality. Up to now, the total number of staff, civil servants and workers in the school is 48 people. The school's facilities are increasingly spacious; the quality of teaching and learning is increasingly improved.
The Organizing Committee of the conference received 29 papers, of which 5 were presented at the conference. The papers focused on analyzing the 75-year journey of building and developing the school, solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning political theory, results and solutions to effectively implement the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views, building and improving the quality of the teaching staff to meet the requirements of assigned tasks, solutions to build a standard Political School...
During the program, delegates also discussed and contributed additional ideas on the achievements in the 75-year history of construction and development of the school.
The workshop is an opportunity for the school’s staff and lecturers to review the tradition. At the same time, the workshop also aims to clearly affirm the school’s role in training and fostering cadres for the province.
On this occasion, 1 group and 5 individuals received certificates of merit from the Principal of Hoang Van Thu Political School for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the birth of comrade Hoang Van Thu, the 75th anniversary of the school's tradition and Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20; 6 individuals received commemorative medals for their career in training and fostering political theory.
