In modern society, smartphones have become almost inseparable. Especially for journalists and reporters, smartphones can be used as a camera, a camera, a recorder, a tape recorder, a tape recorder, a simple graphics card, a voice-to-text converter and vice versa. With the advantages of being compact and ensuring timeliness, smartphones are the preferred means of producing video clips to be delivered directly to the scene in emergency situations.
During the training course, students discussed and exchanged ideas under the guidance of the instructor to make video clips using smartphones, tricks to turn smartphones into cameras, how to take appropriate shots, practice situational exercises, etc.
Students are also introduced to some software and applications (apps) on smartphones, discussed and instructed on how to install and use specialized apps for press production, applied on iOS and Android operating systems.
The program is a meaningful activity, implementing the 2023 professional activity plan to improve the quality of press works of the Hanoi Journalists Association, practically supporting cadres, reporters and editors to improve their professional skills.
