Thai Nguyen unleashes the potential of "green mountains and blue waters"
In addition to introducing and promoting the land, people, destinations and attractive tourism products of the localities, the Conference also aims to strengthen tourism promotion and development linkage activities.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Thai Nguyen province, said: "In the province, there are more than 1,000 inventoried relics, including 1 relic ranked at the special national level with 13 relic sites, 57 relics ranked at the national level and 237 relics ranked at the provincial level; nearly 300 craft villages and over 200 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars. This is a valuable resource for Thai Nguyen province to develop many attractive types of tourism."

Thai Nguyen attracts tourists not only by going back to the source, learning about historical and cultural relics and archaeological sites, but also by the strong development of eco-tourism and community tourism.
This locality has the strength of a land of "green mountains and blue water", fresh climate, and is blessed by nature with many beautiful landscapes such as mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, caves, streams and waterfalls... Famous scenic spots such as Nui Coc Lake, Ghenh Che Lake, Phuong Hoang Cave - Mo Ga Stream, along with streams, waterfalls and wild rocky beaches on the eastern slope of Tam Dao range, and poetic green tea hills.
Thai Nguyen currently has 11 tourist destinations that have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee, typically the Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area, awarded the "World's Best Tourist Village 2022" by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); Tan Cuong Commune Community Tourism Site; Tan Son Hamlet Community Tourism Site; Phuong Hoang Ecological Tourism Site; and Dung Tan Tourism Trade Center...
To date, Thai Nguyen province has a total of 22 heritages included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages, typically: Tac Xinh dance, the Harvest Festival of the San Chay ethnic group; Cap Sac ceremony; Pa Dung singing; the art of sewing and embroidery of the Dao ethnic group; puppetry, Then ritual, Long Tong Festival of the Tay ethnic group; Khen art of the Mong people; and folk knowledge of growing and processing Tan Cuong tea...
Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc - special spiritual tourism, finding the roots
Phu Tho is known as the cradle of Lac Viet culture, the gathering center of ancient Vietnamese people during the time of the Hung Kings who founded the Van Lang nation. After thousands of years of history, this land still retains the early traces of the nation's founding, with 967 historical relics (of which the Hung Temple Relic Site is a special national relic), along with a system of folk festivals and art performances typical of the land of the ancestors.
Phu Tho is also a locality rich in natural tourism resources with many interesting landscapes: Xuan Son National Park, Thanh Thuy hot mineral spring, Ao Chau lagoon, and Van Hoi lagoon, as beautiful as ink paintings, reflecting the palm forests and tea hills...
Vinh Phuc is famous at home and abroad for its tourist destinations such as Tam Dao town - a world-class destination with a fresh, cool climate, becoming an ideal resort; Tay Thien scenic area, where Tay Thien festival becomes an annual spiritual tourist destination, attracting a large number of pilgrims to worship Buddha and Mother Goddess.

In recent years, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, and Phu Tho have been developing tourism in a sustainable direction, building tourism products suitable to new trends of tourists; promoting cultural values, history, natural landscapes, and cultural identity to attract tourists.
The three localities have many things in common, such as exploiting and developing tourism based on the landscape and resources of Tam Dao National Forest of Thai Nguyen and Vinh Phuc; or promoting the value of tea trees and tea culture in tourism development of Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho.
At the conference, leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, and Phu Tho expressed their agreement to strengthen tourism promotion and advertising between localities. At the same time, they will increase support and create favorable conditions for tourism businesses to expand links, cooperation, and tour connections between localities.
